Cobb County, Ga – (November 19, 2025) – Cobb Travel & Tourism celebrated its Annual Meeting & Mixer with friends and partners on Tuesday, November 18, reflecting on the sweet successes of 2025, highlighting the power of tourism, and looking forward to the year ahead.
Each year, Cobb Travel & Tourism hosts this event to recognize the accomplishments of the organization and the hospitality community. The program included the election of the slate of officers for 2026, the presentation of the Cobb Travel & Tourism Spot-On and Changemaker Awards, the latest industry economic impact data, and the unveiling of new initiatives.
“2025 has been an unforgettable year for the hospitality industry and our team,” shared Holly Quinlan, president and CEO of Cobb Travel & Tourism. “This upcoming year will provide thrilling opportunities for Cobb’s hospitality community to welcome visitors from across the globe for the FIFA World Cup, the Savannah Bananas Banana Ball World Tour, and so much more. We are ready to showcase Cobb County on a world stage.”
This year’s Changemaker Award was presented to Bindley Sangster, owner of Sangster’s Café, for his outstanding commitment to community both locally and abroad. Bringing his family’s passion for Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee to downtown Powder Springs, Bindley has helped drive economic development while continually partnering with local organizations and inspiring collaboration throughout the community.
Hospitality and tourism community partners that work to serve our industry and make Cobb Atlanta’s sweet spot were recognized for their outstanding support of Cobb Travel & Tourism and the Cobb Sports Alliance. The 2025 Spot-On Award winners include:
