Cobb County, Ga – (November 19, 2025) – Cobb Travel & Tourism today released its annual Economic Impact Report, reaffirming the strength and momentum of Cobb County’s tourism and hospitality industry. According to new research from Tourism Economics, visitors to Cobb County generated a total economic impact of $2.5 billion in 2024.
The study shows that visitors spent $1.6 billion across the county last year, supporting 18,274 jobs and generating $216.3 million in state and local tax revenue. This revenue provides meaningful value for residents, saving each Cobb household an average of $744 in taxes annually.
These findings reinforce the role of tourism in driving economic vitality in Cobb County. Visitor spending flows directly into local businesses and quickly recirculates through the community, strengthening public services, infrastructure, and quality of life.

The report from Tourism Economics analyzes data from federal, state, and local sources to measure the direct, indirect, and induced impacts of visitor spending across key sectors, including lodging, food and beverage, recreation, retail, and transportation.
