Cobb County, Ga. — (August 1, 2020) — Cobb County’s hospitality and tourism industry has been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Cobb Travel & Tourism is pleased to announce a new campaign aimed at visitors and residents who are interested in safely exploring Cobb County.

The “Hello Again” campaign assures visitors and residents that Cobb is ready to meet them where they are and support their level of comfort. Members from around the hospitality community have been reopening with new and enhanced protocols for the safest experiences possible. Cobb Travel & Tourism has prepared itineraries for various comfort levels including activities that can be done alone, in small groups, or around more people.

“This campaign is a step to move Cobb’s hospitality and tourism industry in a positive direction,” said Holly Quinlan, President & CEO at Cobb Travel & Tourism. “Our partners around the county make Cobb such a unique destination that we are excited to promote every day, and we are glad to be saying ‘Hello Again’ to those that are ready and interested in experiencing our community.”

“To say that the last few months have been a challenge would be an understatement,” said Quinlan. “Our community’s ability to join together and adapt to so much uncertainty shows the resilient spirit in each of us, and especially in the hospitality & tourism industry. This spirit is what continues to bring people back to Cobb County time and time again.”

Cobb Travel & Tourism continues to actively monitor the ongoing news surrounding COVID-19. The safety and health of visitors, hospitality partners, and residents is a top priority. No matter what their comfort level is, Cobb Travel & Tourism continues to encourage visitors and residents to follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) including staying home if they are sick, washing their hands frequently, and wearing a mask when they are around others.
