finding the colorful beauty in photography with a new SCAA exhibit at the Vinings Library
Chasing Colors is a new photography exhibit at the Vinings library now until October 29 with a September 7 Reception from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. It’s a refreshing and exciting exhibit using photography to catch the beauty and art surrounding us whether its a butterfly or dew-kissed leaf or petal of a flower.
Our guest SCAA Artist, Kelley Krohnert, is a portrait and fine art photographer, and owner of Kelley K Photography. She lives in Smyrna, Georgia with her husband and daughter.
Her background is in technology, but when introduced to digital photography as a way to document her daughter’s life, she also became interested in using the camera to create art. She enjoys capturing color and beauty in the world around us.
Her fine artwork includes a variety of landscape and nature photos, as well as abstract and macro (close-up) images. Her photography has been featured in the SCAA National Juried Exhibit in 2016 and 2017 and she is a guest panelist for the 32nd NJE event on August 10. In addition to her interest in fine art, her business specializes in corporate headshots and family photography. She is also a member of the Click Pro network of photographers.
Check out the exhibit now and you will return to see what you missed.
