Event occurs every third Saturday of the month.

Become a VIP by joining the National Park Service’s ‘Volunteer-In-Parks’ program by coming out to the park’s monthly volunteer opportunity! NPS’ public volunteer program invites the community to get hands dirty in the dirt to help support the trail system of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. The park has a very well loved trail system that sees a lot of foot traffic, over 3 million sets of foot prints each year! With all that foot traffic we need to ensure we can upkeep our trails so remain accessible and minimize environmental impact. Join your friends at this event to support the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area through conservation stewardship.

Volunteer Activity:
Volunteers will assist with trail upkeep and restoration, which may include removing debris, pruning overgrowth, smoothing trail surfaces, and enhancing the safety and accessibility of popular hiking paths.
