The Nutcracker, set to Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, tells the story of young Clara, who receives a magical nutcracker doll on Christmas Eve. The doll transforms into a prince and leads Clara on a fantastical journey through the Land of Snow to the Kingdom of Sweets, where they are entertained by dancing confections from around the world. The ballet is celebrated for its enchanting choreography, memorable music, and festive holiday spirit, making it a beloved tradition during the Christmas season. The Georgia Ballet adds flair to the tradition with original choreography by our Artistic Director and Ballet Mistress and a live orchestra!

December 18 is a sensory-friendly show at 7 p.m. with a maximum of 50% capacity, house lighting at half, lowered sound, lowered stage lighting, and no strobe or sudden effects on the stage.
