Chattahoochee NRA- Paces Mill Park

Part of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, the Paces Mill Unit is a park area with bike trails, picnic areas, and entry to a 48-mile-long river for boating and fishing.

This location is one of the river’s most popular recreation areas in metro Atlanta. The West Palisades Trail explores Paces Mill Park and allows visitors to enjoy the park’s broad network of running, walking, and biking trails, as well as Bob Callan Trail and Rottenwood Creek Trail. Perfect for a sunny afternoon stroll, early morning wildlife-spotting adventure, or a moderately hilly running workout, and offers some of the river’s best views in the area.

Be sure to pick up after yourself to keep the Chattahoochee River and surrounding areas as beautiful as they can be.
