Cobb County, Ga. — (April 28, 2020) — As the hospitality and tourism industry continues to feel the impacts of COVID-19, Cobb Travel & Tourism has launched two new initiatives to highlight the arts & culture community and support Cobb County restaurants.

Friday VIBEs
A new digital video series, Friday VIBEs uses IGTV to highlight various members of the arts and culture community in Cobb County. The series premiered earlier in April, and features have included a performance and choreography from the Atlanta Lyric Theatre and home gardening tips from Smith-Gilbert Gardens. New features are uploaded Fridays on Cobb Travel & Tourism’s Instagram page and will continue to feature venues and organizations from around the county.
Takeout Contest
To help drive business to Cobb County restaurants, Cobb Travel & Tourism is hosting a social media contest encouraging residents to order takeout and delivery while social distancing measures are in place. Three participants will win $100 gift cards to Cobb County restaurants. There are three easy steps to enter the contest:
- Order your favorite takeout or delivery meal from a restaurant in Cobb County
- Take a photo of your food, to-go bag, curbside server, or anything that proves you ordered food
- Share your photo on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook using the hashtags #CobbFoodie and #LoveCobbCounty
Participants can enter multiple times by sharing photos of their different takeout and delivery orders. Winners will be contacted via social media on May 1, 2020.
