What is your favorite Cobb restaurant to go to for holiday ambiance and décor?
“For holiday ambience and decor, it has to be Marietta Melt Yard. I am a big fan of them any time of the year, but last year they knocked it out of the park with a Home Alone-themed pop-up! It has the coziness you come to expect from their bar with the fun and nostalgia of one of my favorite holiday movies. ” – Cat
“For holiday ambiance, Hamp & Harry’s is where it’s at. Walking in feels like stepping into a Hallmark movie, with festive decor and that warm, bubbly holiday charm everywhere you look. Plus, their holiday-themed cocktails bring the cheer up a notch. It’s the perfect spot to soak up all the holiday feels!” – Chris
“For holiday ambiance, I like to go to South City Kitchen in Vinings. My mom and I used to do the holiday brunch there every year, because they had an incredible choral group there singing carols a couple of times in December. They have stopped doing that event, but I still like to go there since it brings back those holiday memories.” – Emily
“We really like going to Piastra! It’s cozy and warm, with a great view of the square. Love seeing the lights and decor while enjoying a great Italian meal” – Judy & Deb
“If you are really looking to get into the holiday spirit we loved going to Tinsel Town at Live! at The Battery. You will be sure to have the most extravagant holiday experience with a dazzling array of tinsel and shimmering lights, unique holiday cocktails and treats and fun themed nights!” – Tara & Curtis
What is your favorite spot in Cobb for holiday dishes?
“The best spot in Cobb for holiday dishes has to be South City Kitchen in Vinings. The fried chicken with mashed potatoes is the perfect cozy, southern meal.”- Cat
“When it comes to holiday dishes, Capers Restaurant & Bar never misses. They roll out weekly specials that are a perfect nod to the holiday season. My top pick? Their mashed sweet potatoes—a flawless mix of spice and sweetness that feels like a warm hug on a plate.”- Chris
“Like most of Atlanta, I will be visiting Patak this holiday season. Their smoked turkeys are the best! I also love Seed Kitchen + Bar. A couple of years ago they did an everything but the turkey Thanksgiving package. They had amazing Brussels Sprouts, smoked gouda mac n’ cheese and the world’s best yeast rolls! I’m on their email list and haven’t seen anything about it yet, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed!”- Emily
“Growing up, our family celebrated most holidays with Chinese food feasts, so our favorite “holiday dish” spot is Canton Cook. Some of our must-orders are the House Chow Fun, Salt and Pepper Squid, and Snow Pea Leaves!”- Judy & Deb
What is your favorite place to get a holiday pie in Cobb County? What is your favorite flavor?
“My favorite place in Cobb to get pies, including for the holidays, is definitely Southern Baked Pie in Vinings! I LOVE their caramel pecan flavor; it was a big hit at my family Christmas party last year.” – Cat
“My go-to for holiday pie in Cobb has to be Pie Bar in Marietta Square. Their Brown Sugar Chess Pie is pure magic, especially paired with a Vanilla Latte—warm, cozy, and just right for the season.” – Chris
“Pie Bar is the hands down my favorite place to get pie in Cobb! I’m addicted to their Brown Sugar Chess, because it’s got those great caramel flavors and the crunchy oat crust, but for Thanksgiving, you have to go with the classic Apple Streusel, because the tart apples make it feel like a healthy dessert after eating all the mashed potatoes.” – Emily
“We love McEntyre’s Bakery for a good holiday pie and other baked goods! Definitely partial to an apple pie and pecan pie.” – Judy & Deb
