Separated from East Cobb by Interstate 75, West Cobb has gained a reputation as a premier destination for dining, shopping, and entertainment in metro-Atlanta. The Avenue West Cobb, an open-air lifestyle shopping center, offers a mix of national and local retailers, specialty restaurants, and merchants. West Cobb is quickly becoming a hub for both singles and young families. If you’re looking for delicious food, visit Gabriel’s Restaurant & Bakery to sample their down-home favorites.
There are plenty of options if you want to spend some time outdoors. Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is a 2,965 acre National Battlefield that preserves a Civil War battleground of the Atlanta Campaign. The mountain itself offers quite a climb if you want to get a work-out. Cheatham Hill and Kolb Farm Loop Trail offers a moderately rolling 5.8-mile loop through a wide variety of beautiful landscapes at Cheatham Hill and Kolb Farm. It’s one of our favorite metro-Atlanta trails for an in-town trail run or a scenic hike. Oregon Park Disc Golf is a highly rated disc gold course located in West Cobb. Lost Mountain Park is fun for the whole family. Plenty of sports fields and trails means you can make a day of it.
