The Community Chalk Competition is a chance for local artists to create their own chalk art at Chalktoberfest and be considered for awards. There are divisions for individual artists and for school teams.

School teams can enter the Elementary School Division, Middle School Division, or the High School Division. (Non-school groups — such as scout troops — can also compete as teams *as long the group members’ ages all qualify for the same division.*) First, second, and third place will be awarded within each division.

Individual artists qualify for the Adult Division (ages 18+), the Teen Division (ages 13-17), or the Youth Division (ages 9 – 12). First, second, and third place will be awarded within each division.
