Cobb Travel & Tourism’s “Bubbles & Brews” Receives Georgia Tourism Award at Annual Conference

Cobb County, Ga. (February 7, 2025) – Cobb Travel & Tourism (CT&T) received statewide recognition for its craft beverage month initiative “Bubbles & Brews” at the Georgia Association of Convention and Visitors Bureau’s annual tourism awards program, held during the GACVB Annual Conference in Duluth, Ga. on Tuesday, February 4. The Paul Broun Award for Marketing Initiatives, which recognizes “the entity that demonstrates an effective and unique marketing initiative,” was presented to CT&T after Bubbles & Brews’ fifth year.

This award is a testament to the dedication of our team at Cobb Travel & Tourism and our destination partners, who make Cobb such a vibrant and welcoming place to visit and live,” said Holly Quinlan, president and CEO of CT&T. “We look forward to expanding this initiative as we go into its sixth year and welcoming even more visitors to explore the unique beverage offerings in Cobb County.”

Introduced in March 2020, CT&T created “Bubbles & Brews” as a month-long campaign designed to increase awareness of the destination’s unique craft beverage experiences, while driving foot-traffic and direct sales throughout Cobb County’s locally owned breweries, distilleries, and wineries. To promote the initiative, CT&T created BubblesAndBrews.com, a dedicated landing page to showcase the participating locations, special events throughout the month and allow digital access to the free ‘BrewPass’, which guides visitors along each stop on the Cobb Ale Trail.

The Georgia Tourism Awards recognize individuals, organizations, and businesses that demonstrate leadership, creativity, initiative, innovation, service, and partnership while making an impact on the travel and tourism industry in Georgia. The Paul Broun Award for Marketing Initiatives is given in memory of Senator Paul Broun of Athens who was a huge supporter of tourism and who played a vital role in the development and appropriations of tourism funding.
