Wednesday Wonders

May 9 and May 15

Wednesday Wonders at Smith-Gilbert Gardens is a morning family program that includes a quick garden lesson and a fun craft, perfect for Pre-K–5th grade students. Families will follow along with Education Coordinator Nina Franklin, to explore the world of insects, pollinators, flowers, seeds, and other wildlife in engaging workshops where you can always leave with your very own creation! Registration is required.


Cobb County PARKS Summer Camps To-Go

Various Dates in June and July

Cobb PARKS has the perfect summertime program that you can take anywhere and always have fun things to do no matter where you are. They have it all, from sports and arts and crafts, to the great outdoors and cooking. Summer Camp To-Go will give your kiddo a real camp feel. There is even a virtual campfire! Each package provides enough supplies for one month’s worth of fun and activities.


Summer Intensive Programs with The School of The Georgia Ballet

June 7 – July 16

The School of The Georgia Ballet offers a rigorous summer intensive program for male and female students ages 8 and older. Each program is designed to improve a dancer’s technique, artistry, musicality, and professional approach. Disciplines include: ballet technique, body conditioning, boys’ classes, jazz, modern, YAGP tips and more.


Summer Dance Camp with The School of The Georgia Ballet

Dance Camp: June 14 – 18; Mini – Intensive Camp: July 12 – 16

Jump on in to The School of Georgia Ballet’s Summer Dance Camp and try something new this summer. Learn all about the different styles of dance including, ballet, jazz, modern and hip hop. Great for any skill level!


Summer Dance Camps at Georgia Dance Conservatory

June 7 – July 30

Come dance at Georgia Dance Conservatory this summer! GDC’s dance camps include options for Pre-Primary Division (3-4-year-olds), Primary Division (5-6-year-olds), and Studio Division (7-11-year-olds) dancers. The Monday-Friday half-day camps feature multiple dance styles including ballet, jazz, tap, and hip hop.


Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education Summer Day Programs

June 7 – July 25

Summer Day Programs offer a variety of dance classes for dancers at a beginner and intermediate level. Students enjoy ballet technique classes Monday through Friday with opportunities to explore other dance styles and genres. Past sessions have offered pre-pointe/pointe, variations, jazz, tap, modern, hip hop, musical theatre, choreography, international dance styles, and nutrition.


Cobb County PARKS Art Summer Camp

Get ready for a summer with excitement, discovery, and adventure. Your child will unleash their creativity while immersing themselves in the arts: drawing, painting, sculpting, printing, performing arts, and so much more, all centering around different themes. They’ll enjoy a myriad of artistic media using a variety of materials. Hosted at four art centers: The Arts Station (Kennesaw), The Mable House Arts Center (Mableton), Swell Mill Cultural Center (Marietta), and The Art Place (Marietta).
