Santa Claus is Coming to Cobb County, Georgia

The holiday season is in full swing and Santa is making his way through Atlanta collecting lists. We have nailed down his schedule and have created the ultimate list of Santa sightings this holiday season! Use this guide to capture sweet moments with St. Nick from Acworth to Vinings until Christmas Eve!

The avenue East Cobb begins holiday festivities on Friday, November 29 from 3 to 7 p.m. with Santa’s arrival. See him at the same time on December 6 and 20 for carriage rides and to get your photo taken. On December 12, hang out with Santa while decorating cookies and making holiday crafts from 4 to 6 p.m.!

Santa at Avenue West Cobb

Kick off your holidays with Santa and Mrs. Claus at The Avenue West Cobb! They are bringing the Christmas spirit November 20, December 4, and December 18 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Check out their Santa Suite (Suite #220) next to Kirkland’s and Lane Bryant, snap a photo with Saint Nick, and see their Christmas lights with a carriage ride around the property!

Santa Claus is making special visits to The Battery Atlanta every week until Christmas. Capture holiday memories with him Thursdays through Sundays and on Christmas Eve. Plan to bring your furry family members to Santa Paws Night on December 8 and 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. There will be a few low-sensory Santa experiences available throughout the season as well.

The Kennesaw-Acworth Optimist Club is hosting an “all-you-care-to-eat” breakfast with Santa complete with pancakes, sausage, juice, and coffee on the morning of December 14. Tickets are only $6.00 per person and can be purchased online or at the Ben Robertson Community Center.

Dave & Buster’s is inviting Santa for a hearty breakfast on Saturday, December 7 from 9 to 11 a.m. Join Kris Kringle for scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, roasted potatoes, bagels with cream cheese, waffles, orange juice, soda, coffee, and tea. Tickets include a $10.00 power card for ticket games and unlimited video game play (non- ticket games) during the event.

Santa Acworth

Santa will be reaching downtown Acworth on Friday, December 6. Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. and Santa will arrive around 6:30 p.m. Bring the entire family to hear Mayor Tommy Allegood read The Night Before Christmas at the Plaza, take photos with Santa, and watch the lighting of the tree. On Saturday, December 7 and Saturday, December 14, Santa will be at the Depot on Main Street starting at 1 p.m. for story time, followed by pictures with Santa from 2 to 5 p.m. on both days.

Santa is coming to downtown Kennesaw Saturday, December 7. Beginning at 2 p.m., watch the Main Street parade featuring marching bands, decorated floats, vintage cars, and colorfully-costumed characters. The celebration continues from 3 to 7 p.m. on Main Street with a holiday host of activities including FREE snow tubing, inflatables, kid’s crafts, visits with Santa, entertainment, and a holiday market full of gift ideas and unique merchandise.

Santa East Cobb

Head to East Cobb on December 8 for the Holiday Lights Celebration. View the lighting of the East Cobb Park tree, enjoy holiday music from local performers, and welcome the arrival of Santa Claus on his light-powered sleigh! This holiday event is free for all ages, and Santa will be on-hand after the musical performances to hear your wishes.

Santa Marietta Square

Santa heads to Marietta Square on December 5 for the Christmas Tree Lighting and will be staying in his workshop at Glover Park for the remainder of the season. Schedule a visit to Santa’s Workshop on select dates in December and get your photo taken. Then visit the shops and restaurants surrounding the square for fun holiday gifts, delicious food, and hot drinks.

The “Coming Home for the Holidays and Tree Lighting” celebration for the city of Smyrna is Tuesday, December 3 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Start the evening off with concerts by local choral groups and activities for children. Then enjoy a parade followed by visits with Santa. Each evening throughout the holidays, visitors can enjoy the festive lights downtown.

Six Flags Over Georgia is bringing the North Pole to Austell! There are many exciting, fun-filled holiday activities waiting at this winter wonderland. Walk through a beautiful canopy of lights, ornamented garlands, snow machines and a 20 foot Christmas tree to the Santa Photo Experience. If you’re hungry, be sure to stop by Santa’s Soup Kitchen and say hello to Mrs. Claus!

Make plans to visit with Father Christmas in Kennesaw at Town Center Mall now through December 24. Check the list of dates for pet photo nights and “Caring Santa,” for children with disabilities. You can also reserve a FastPass and skip the line on the day of your visit.

Get those Santa hats ready, the Annual Vinings Jubilee Christmas Tree Lighting is back December 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.! The oldest tradition in historic Vinings is a can’t-miss this holiday season. Gather the whole family together to be merry and bright with live holiday music, cookie and ornament decorating, train rides, pictures with Santa, and more!
