Santa Claus is Coming to Cobb County, Georgia

The holiday season is in full swing and Santa is making his way through Atlanta collecting lists. We have nailed down his schedule and have created the ultimate list of Santa sightings this holiday season! Use this guide to capture sweet moments with St. Nick from Acworth to Vinings until Christmas Eve!

Avenue East Cobb Santa


Create magical memories with your loved ones at Avenue East Cobb. Every Thursday December 1-22, children can enjoy unique experiences with Santa at participating retailers from 4-6 p.m. Climb aboard the Avenue Express on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 2-6 p.m. and join Santa for a magical train ride. Gather around for holiday stories read by the holly jolly man himself on Fridays from from 4-6 p.m. Advance ticket purchase will be required for these events.

Celebrate the holidays with Santa at The Avenue West Cobb. He is bringing the Christmas spirit each Wednesday from November 30 through December 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. Be sure to bring a camera so you can capture memories with the life-size snow globe and St. Nick!

Santa Claus is coming to town! The Man in the Red Suit will make his annual appearance at The Battery Atlanta to accept children’s letters and pose for pictures on select days, November 25-December 24. ‘Tis the season! If you’re looking for a fun and festive way to celebrate the holiday season in Atlanta, look no further – Cumberland Mall offers various opportunities for photos with Santa Friday, November 25 through Saturday, December 24! Reservations are encouraged.

For a sensory-friendly visit with Santa, schedule a time on Santa Cares Day, December 4. Visit with Santa Norman Mondays and Tuesdays from December 5 – 20. Bring your furry friends on Mondays from November 28 – December 5 on Pet Nights.

Celebrate Christmas in Acworth on Saturday, December 3 and December 10. Santa will visit downtown Acworth from 1 to 5 p.m. to take pictures with families. Pictures are free of charge, but be sure to bring your own camera to capture the special moments as no photographer will be on site.

Santa Marietta Square


Santa heads to Marietta Square on December 2 and will be staying in his workshop at The Marietta Museum of History for the remainder of the season. Schedule a visit to Santa’s Workshop on select dates in December and get your photo taken. Then visit the shops and restaurants surrounding the square for fun holiday gifts, delicious food, and hot drinks.

Santa at six flags


Six Flags Over Georgia is bringing the North Pole to Austell beginning Saturday, November 19! There are many exciting, fun-filled holiday activities waiting at this winter wonderland. Walk through a beautiful canopy of lights, ornamented garlands, snow machines and a 20 foot Christmas tree to the Santa Photo Experience. Be sure to check out their Christmas stage shows to get the whole family in the holiday spirit.
