Visit The Battery Atlanta
Located adjacent to Truist Park, home of the World Series Champion Atlanta Braves, The Battery Atlanta is a paradise for pups (and their humans) that like to have fun. The area is always bustling with activity, particularly on Braves game days, when fans can be found sprawled around the Georgia Power Pavilion to watch the game on the big screen. Almost all the restaurants have dog-friendly outdoor seating options, as do the brewery and distillery located on site! Just be sure to keep your pup on a leash and clean up after your furry friend!

Explore the Cobb Ale Trail
Cobb is Atlanta’s Sweet Spot for craft draft lovers. Use our weekend beer itinerary to travel up the #CobbAleTrail to various unique breweries, distilleries, and wineries. Many of these facilities are pet-friendly on their patios, and some like Reformation Brewery, Schoolhouse Brewing, Red Hare Brewing and Distilling, and Dry County Brewing Co. allow dogs to hang-out inside with their human friends. This self-guided tour is sure to cure what ales you.

Hike Kennesaw Mountain
Leash-up your best friend and hike 2.1 miles (round trip) up and back down Kennesaw Mountain for a great workout and breathtaking skyline views. If you are looking for a longer stroll, try Battlefield Trail for 11 miles of soaring summits and vast meadows. Remember to bring plenty of water for you and your pup.

Run Off-Leash
Cobb County PARKS maintains three dog parks that are perfect play areas for friendly pups with lots of energy. Located in Acworth, Austell, and Marietta, these parks contain separate play areas for small and large dogs, as well as conveniently placed sitting areas for their owners.
